PR and Publicity Campaign for the Women CEOs Roundtable (2004)

The Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women (HKABPW) along with Veuve Clicquot and South China Morning Post and SCMP.COM, presented the Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women’s Inaugural Women CEO Roundtable on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at the American Club.

This high profile event was HKABPW's primary fund-raising vehicle for 2003 and was an effort to raise the profile of the association in the media and in the public eye. The support of our sponsors along with our attendees and the efforts of our Executive Committee and members ensured that all proceeds from the Roundtable went to the HKABPW bursary fund — helping young women pursue university studies in nontraditional fields such as engineering, surveying and construction. Targeted reach is estimated to be 2 million people and the estimated media value of the event – near to HK$500,000.

Sponsorship of the HKABPW Women CEO Roundtable presented an opportunity for exposure in the business community, corporate world and to the public. HKABPW’s, South China Morning Post, SCMP.Com and Veuve Clicquot’s corporate messages reached thousands of business and professional women in Hong Kong and nearly two million people in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region. Event promotion was done extensively through the media, major marketing channels and a broad range of women’s networks in Hong Kong and throughout the Asia Pacific region.

On the day of the event, there was good attendance by the regional business press (Far Eastern Economic Review, Hong Kong Business, Asia Inc., Hong Kong Tatler, etc.), sponsors had product tables and Veuve Clicquot had carrier bags with one mini-bottle of champagne for each attendee. The program for the event bore the logos of all the sponsors/organizers, and the backdrop had the logos of the organisers and the sponsors prominently displayed.
